Key Recovery Submits Medicaid Data Using DrCloudEHR™
EnSoftek is proud to announce that Key Recovery and Life Skills Center has used DrCloudEHR to successfully submit its Medicaid Behavioral Health Supplement Data (BHSD) in compliant batch files to the Beacon Web Portal, a State of Washington data reporting system. Key Recovery has been using DrCloudEHR since 2015 to meet its electronic health record and revenue cycle management needs.
“Meeting the state submission requirements has been like building the plane while flying it,” said Angela Grout, Treatment Administrator at Key Recovery. “The requirements continued to evolve as the submission deadline approached, and our process had to incorporate those changes to succeed.”
DrCloudEHR is currently used in 26 states and understands the challenges behavioral health providers face to deliver compassionate care while remaining compliant with state requirements.
“If providers are not able to submit their data, they’re not getting paid,” said Ramana Reddy, EnSoftek CEO and President. “Close collaboration with our providers allows us to stay in synch with evolving state system requirements and submit this vital data.”
Successful submission of the Medicaid BHSD in batch files sets the stage for Key Recovery to move to a fully automated submission process. The Beacon Web Portal requirements for this are still in the works. “We have already developed three DrCloudEHR interfaces to meet Washington state requirements,” Grout said. “We are confident that our partnership with EnSoftek will result in another positive outcome.”
